AMRAPALI organized the first Culture Colloquium with a motive to gather artistes, art lovers as well as layman to generate artistic improvisations. The Culture Colloquium – Autumn 2015 was a wonderful experience for all the attendees. It brought a new pavement towards artistic prospects and exchange of thoughts. The orators commendably disclosed their thoughts and expert notions. AMRAPALI will plan more such gatherings for sustainability of art and culture. The event also brought in talk on AMRAPALI’s avenues and establishment of AIA (Amrapali Institute of Arts). The AIA started its performing arts classes from October 2015 at two centres in Guwahati: Kharghuli (near Borthakur Clinic) and Lalmati (near Game Village).

Another upcoming event name CHIMERA – 2015 is designed on eve of Children’s Day, wherein 5 events are categorized from Nursery to Class X and the prize distribution ceremony would host some extravagant choreographic works, oration and other performances by school students.

poster 1Auditions would soon take place for the inaugural choreography, contact +91-9678886032 for registration for audition. Efforts has been put in its execution and we sincerely look forward to great collaborations and participation to be marked as a fantastic annual event…the fun and excitement lingers throughout!

On behalf of AMRAPALI, I heartily welcome interested artistes and art lovers to join our mission of spreading art and culture and making a stronger art community whilst creating radical environment for inspiring artistic ventures. There is enough room for volunteers to extend support for our regular events/concerts and we have also opened our Membership criteria. Let us ruminatively join hands and generate enormous scope, space and hope for a prospective culture oriented society, wherein a little Pablo Picasso may grow to stroke masterpieces.

Keep tapping!
